• Appointment or pickup-related information

This information may be entered directly by an end user or by food bank staff at the end user’s request, after the end user is informed of how the information will be used.

Automatically collected information

We may collect limited technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, usage data, and server logs. This information is used to maintain and improve the service.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• Provide access to the Time To Pickup service
• Send appointment confirmations and reminders
• Send one-time passcodes for secure access
• Send appointment or pickup status updates
• Send related service emails
• Improve and operate the platform

Marketing emails may be sent by Time To Pickup or by food banks using the service. Time To Pickup does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

4. SMS Messaging

Time To Pickup sends transactional SMS messages only, which may include:

• One-time passcodes
• Appointment or pickup reminders
• Appointment status updates (confirmations, cancellations, or reschedules)

Phone numbers are collected during appointment scheduling or service use. At the time a phone number is collected, users are informed that they will receive transactional SMS messages related to their appointments or pickups.

SMS messages are sent only to U.S. phone numbers.

Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, recipients may reply HELP or contact admin@timetopickup.com.

5. Consent

Users are informed at the time their phone number is collected that they will receive transactional SMS messages related to appointment access, reminders, and status updates.

By providing a phone number, users consent to receive these transactional SMS messages. SMS consent is not a condition of receiving services.

6. Data Sharing

Time To Pickup is a software platform used by food banks. Information entered into the service is shared with the food bank using the platform for the purpose of scheduling and managing appointments and pickups.

We do not sell or rent phone numbers or personal information to third parties.

7. Analytics and Logging

We may use analytics and logging tools, such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and server logs, to understand usage and improve the service. These tools collect aggregated and technical information and are not used to send marketing messages.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the service or until a deletion request is received.

At this time, data is retained until the user requests deletion. Automatic deletion after inactivity may be implemented in the future.

We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Age Restrictions

Time To Pickup is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly send SMS messages to minors.

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
